Loosening of solid goods

When goods are finely ground or obtained as a product, they are technically smaller but their surface area is actually much bigger. As a result, new compounds may develop. Usually this will occur under the influence of humidity. The water present in the air is deposited on the numerous tiny surfaces and reacts with the compounds of the respective substance. Everyone is familiar with this process: for example, when a broken cement bag has been lying in the cellar or garage for a long time, the fine cement powder will eventually turn into a massive hard block.
The situation is similar with bulk materials or silo goods that have a long transport route behind them. While most minerals are largely insensitive to this process, long journeys can be an endurance test for organic substances in freight spaces or containers located on a ship. Plant-based raw materials often contain high amounts of starch and sugar. Both are excellent "adhesives" in combination with moisture, which is abundant in seawater. But bulk materials without these components also tend to cluster or clump together, usually due to adhesion (i.e. adhering force). The loosening of solid goods is therefore often a necessary process after the freight journey.

Clumped goods - not to be processed

Silo goods or bulk materials are raw materials or additives which can be found in many end products. In order to integrate them appropriately, they are processed internally via various supply lines, pipes, hoses and valves. But before this can happen, the consistency of goods must be suitable for the often narrow transport routes. This requires a certain degree of flowability and the material must be in powder form. Many clumped or caked raw materials cannot be loosened - even by the supply of dry, warm air. Only mechanical processing can help here. The hard goods are loosened and returned to their original condition before being shipped.

We loosen your goods again

If, at the time of collection or delivery of your overseas products, you determine that the formation of lumps prevents their processing, then the first problem is to dissolve these lumps. Before doing so, the products would be almost impossible to sell, or only at an unprofitable price. Moreover, in most cases you will not be able to use it yourself either.

We are here to help you loosen your hard goods. Before you take any tedious and often hopeless legal action against your overseas business partner due to inadequate transport conditions, let us make you an offer. Using our stainless steel shredders, we loosen up your fine-grained product so that nothing prevents it from being used in the corresponding facilities or transported in silo trucks. It passes through the shredder so quickly that no heat fields can form. The shredder's knife roller breaks up the clots without damaging the individual particles. The resulting product possesses the properties you originally ordered.

With a thorough and in-depth cleaning of the shredder after each use, we ensure that no contamination of the following products can occur. The stainless steel shredder is also suitable for food and products subject to food law. Ask us now for a non-binding offer.
